Hola Lars! Se que ya no estás ahí! Lamento muchísimo no haber atendido el teléfono cuando estuviste llamando. No estaba yo en condiciones de atender y hoy lo lamento tanto que no puedo del dolor que me causa! Dear Dessi,
Lars was a good friend and constant colleague to me for many years, and continued to counsel me after his retirement.

We first met when I worked for Astra Hassle during the late 1980s and we stayed in touch across different companies and countries thereafter. He was a true friend and mentor.

I will miss Lars greatly.

When I think of Lars, I think of a man with the warmest heart, the brightest eyes, and the kindest smile. He filled every room with his warm voice and caring presence.

Lars was someone who always thought of others. He consistently showed me kindness as Vikki’s friend and always took a genuine interest in my life.

Vikki and Joey, how lucky you were to have a father like Lars — truly a giant among men.

Hello dearest Vikki,
My deepest condolences to you and your family.

I cannot imagine the extreme shock and pain you are going through right now.
I’m sure you have a lot on your plate right now just trying to navigate all of this, but I hope you can still find some solace during these difficult time to rest and heal.

We have this belief in Vietnam that death is not the end, your loved ones would always watch over you as your guardian angels, and your memories of them will always guide them back to you. I hope with this you can find some comfort in knowing it might not be a forever separation.

At last, please give yourself time to grieve dear, don’t feel pressured to be “well-put-together” at any time. Everyone’s grief will be different and so will their time to recover. You might not be able to be back to the way you were before this but that’s ok, gems and jades are bound to have growth marks.
